On october 24, 1996, officers responded to the 1200 block of iola street where a body had been located. The decedent was later identified as tangie sims. The victim was last seen at e. Colfax avenue and joliet street, walking towards a semi-tractor with a sleeper cab without a trailer attached. The suspect(s) responsible for the death of tangie sims have yet to be identified.
