On the late evening of december 20, 2003, mr. Ulibarri and his friend had just left a liquor store and were in the process of driving home. While near the intersection of west 25th avenue and julian street, a dark colored vehicle pulled alongside the vehicle that mr. Ulibarri was occupying. Shots were then fired from within this vehicle by an unknown suspect(s). Mr. Ulibarri and one of his friends were struck by the gunfire. Mr. Ulibarri was immediately transported to a local hospital, but did not survive and was officially pronounced on december 21, 2003. Mr. Ulibarri's friend recovered from the wounds he sustained. The suspect(s) responsible for the death of mr. Ulibarri have yet to yet identified. Anyone with information regarding this case, is asked to please contact the denver police department.Agency
