The metropolitan police department’s violent crimes branch and the victim’s family are seeking the public’s assistance with the following homicide investigation. On monday, may 27, 2002, at approximately 9:30 pm, members of the sixth district responded to the 100 block of 58th street, se, for a reported shooting. Once on the scene, units located the victim identified as william gordon clark, also known by his family and friends as “lucky,” along with two other victims lying on the ground suffering from multiple gunshots wounds to the body. The victim william gordon clark was transported to washington hospital center medstar unit where he was pronounced dead.Agency
