West precinct officers were dispatched to a person shot call in the 1900 block of 13th avenue west.Officers arrived on the scene and then observed the victim lying unresponsive near a curb suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.Birmingham fire and rescue personnel arrived on the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
