Shortly after 5:30 am on june 12, 1998, rosendo rivas flores was discovered deceased in an alley behind an apartment complex on the 4800 block of n. Minnesota avenue. Rosendo rivas flores, a 45-year-old hispanic man, had died as the result a gunshot wound. Rosendo rivas flores was a horse breeder and trainer with rural property in washington county. It was reported that he had been involved in the sale of illegal drugs. Witnesses reported hearing a gunshot near the apartment complex the night before the discovery of mr. Rivas flores at approximately 11:07 pm. An unidentified african-american man was seen leaving the area shortly after and has been described as 6 feet tall, slender with short hair.Agency
