On august 8, 2001, at approximately 2:40 a.M., a baltimore county police officer was on patrol when they were flagged down by a citizen who had observed a male subject lying on the sidewalk. The officer found 20-year-old tynell dorsey on the sidewalk in the unit block of mars road 21221 in precinct 11 essex. Dorsey had sustained a gunshot wound to the upper body and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Interviews with residents revealed that several had heard a single gunshot approximately two hours before dorsey was found. Tynell dorsey had previously lived in california and was known by the nickname "Cali."Agency
