Officers responded to this location on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, carlos alva-perez, suffering from a gunshot wound of the head. The victim was taken to university hospital, where he later died as a result of his injuries. The investigation found that prior to the shooting a group of males and females in a vehicle pulled up next to carlos’s vehicle and exchanged words. As carlos attempted to flee, the suspects fired into his vehicle striking him in the head. The vehicle then fled the area.Agency
