During the early morning hours of november 20, 1983, denver police officers responded to the rock tower bar, located on morrison road and south king street, on a report of a man down. Upon arrival, 40 year old florentino tafoya was found in the parking lot deceased from a stab wound. The victim was last seen leaving the west denver bar at closing time with fellow patrons.
