The douglas county sheriff’s office has identified a 20-year-old woman whose body was found 27 years ago in an area near woodland park and deckers in the pike san isabel national forest.Dcso said rebecca “becky” ann redeker’s body was found on june 15, 1993 near rainbow creek falls.Becky lived in the colorado springs area during the early ’90s. She also lived in manitou springs, where she attended high school for a time. She went to coronado high school in 1989 and also spent a year at manual high school in denver.Undersheriff holly nicholson-kluth said, “as a new detective in 1993, I had no idea this case would haunt me for 27 years. I am just thankful after all this time, this part has been solved. After all this time, there is a family this girl belonged to. She is someone. She is no longer a jane doe.”in july 2020, the douglas county sheriff’s office cold case detective received information that finally lead to the identification of the remains of becky.
