On september 1, 1987, a caretaker of the beth israel temple on nw flanders street discovered a deceased man lying in the courtyard just after 7:30 am. The man, maximino peña-segura, a 29-year-old hispanic man, had died as the result of an apparent stab wound. An autopsy revealed that mr. Peña-segura died sometime after 3:15 am that morning. Maximino peña-segura was a mexican citizen who was in the u.S. Illegally and was reported to have dealt drugs.Agency
