On september 21, 2022, patrol officers responded to a shots fired complaint in the 1700 block of parkford ln. While en route, the responding officers were directed to the 1600 block of harvester ln. To search for a person who had been shot. Upon arrival, the officers located the victim, 33yr old mayfield evans iii, who was suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers rendered aid to the victim prior to the medics arrival. The victim was transported to a local area hospital in critical condition. Despite receiving lifesaving medical treatment, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 12:02 am.Agency
