Rona l. Monoson, 19, was a student at the university of south florida. On the morning of october 2, 1972, she left to go to the store. She never returned to her dorm. Her body was found 3 days later, the victim of blunt trauma, she had been thrown in a pond, just a short distance from the usf campus. Her car, a gray chevrolet impala, was located in a nearby apartment complex. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call det.
