Just before 5 p.M., west precinct officers were dispatched to a person shot call at the big boy convenience store at 2714 pearson avenue southwest.Officers arrived on the scene when they observed the victim lying unresponsive outside the store suffering from a gunshot wound.Birmingham fire and rescue personnel arrived and pronounced the victim the deceased.The preliminary investigation suggests the victim was involved in an armed confrontation with an adult male. During the confrontation, the adult male shot the victim then fled the scene. Both males were armed with a firearm.There is no one in custodAgency
