Guyton was found murdered at approximately 09:15 am on the morning of july 17, 1997 in her apartment. She lived alone and robbery appears to be the motive for the attack. Two white male suspects believed to be in their mid-thirties were seen around the apartment at approximately 03:00 am on july 17, 1997. Both suspects had what appeared to be shoulder length dark hair and were approximately 6 feet tall.
