On december 1, 1998, the victim was inside his motel room when multiple suspects forced open the door. Once inside, the suspects demanded money from the victim. A confrontation ensued between the victim and suspects at which time the victim was shot. Immediately after the shooting, the suspects fled from the royal host motel. The victim, subsequently identified as l.C. Shine, was transported to a local hospital, but unfortunately died shortly after arrival. The suspects responsible for the murder of l.C.
