On april 30, 1976, the deceased body of daniel fiorini was found lying face down in a grassy area along the animas riverbank in the 3000 block of e. 2nd avenue. A passerby had located the body in the early morning while walking her dogs. Fiorini was a local transient known throughout the community. The cause of death was trauma to the head due to being severely beaten. Anyone with information regarding this case, is asked to please contact the durango police department.Agency
