On august 4, 2000, at about 1:18 a.M., officers responded to sw 6th avenue near burnside street on the report of an assault. Upon arrival in the area, officers found the victim lying on the ground unconscious. The victim, james john stewart, a 50 year old white male, was transported to a local hospital for his injuries. Mr. Stewart died on august 16, 2000, due to the injuries he sustained in the assault.Agency
