On tuesday, february 9 , 1988, 78-year-old edward gholson was found deceased inside his home located in milledgeville, baldwin county, georgia. His death was ruled as a homicide.At approximately 1 p.M., gholson’s body was discovered by an insurance agent who came by the residence to collect insurance dues. Gholson was observed in a restaurant in town by witnesses the morning of his death. The region 6 milledgeville gbi office was requested to assist in the investigation shortly thereafter the discovery of his body. Gholson resided alone at his residence.
