At approximately 10:47 a.M. Officers from west precinct responded to 4448 carver avenue on a call of a person shot. Officers arrived and found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Birmingham fire and rescue responded to the scene and transported the victim to the hospital with life threatening injuries. Shortly after, bpd was notified the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased by hospital staff. There is limited information available in this investigation.
