On friday, january 5, 1990 around 1:50 a.M., vernon melvin green and his roommates were watching a basketball game on television. Mr. Green, also known as "Peanut" to his friends, left his apartment located in the 3000 block of essex road, 21207 and went outside. After a short time, neighbors in the area heard voices and arguing. Gunshots were then heard. Some of the neighbors went outside and found mr. Green lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot to his head. Baltimore county police responded to the scene and determined that mr. Green was dead. He was 26 years old.Agency
