On 10/01/2013, ogden city police officers were dispatched to a report that shallen lestrick had been shot by two unknown males who ran from the area. Officers found shallen lying on the sidewalk in front of a home in the 200 block of 29th street. Officers were told lestrick was outside smoking when the suspects approached from behind and shot him.
