Nearly seven months later, offers from the denver police department responded to a body found in a field near east hampden avenue and south yosemite street. This discovery was made on may 9, 1984. During a subsequent autopsy, the victim was identified as michael loughrey. This case was investigated as a homicide since it was determined the victim was shot to death.
