May 28, 1980 - At approximately 2:45 p.m., a badly decomposed body was discovered body was discovered by a juvenile hiker approximately 100 yards north of the Hercules Water Tower. The victim was found in a shallow grave covered with branches, leaves and bark. The victim had a piece of clothing around her neck tied in a double knot. She was clothed only in a blue and green long sleeve print blouse, nude from the waist down. The victim had a red, white and blue handmade bead bracelet on her right wrist. One other distinguishing feature is that the victim obviously suffered from a physical back deformity.Agency
