At around 5:20 p.M., east precinct officers were dispatched to a car accident call in the 1700 block of indian summer drive.Officers arrived on the scene when they observed a wrecked vehicle in the front yard of a residence. Officers observed the vehicle had been shot into. Upon further investigation of the vehicle, officers observed three gunshot victims inside the vehicle.Birmingham fire and rescue personnel arrived and pronounced all three victims deceased.The preliminary investigation suggests the victims were inside their vehicle in the 1700 block of indian summer drive (near the entrance to echo highlands park) when they were shot in a targeted shootingAgency
