On sunday, june 19th, 2005 family members of the victim arrived at robert blackstone’s residence, where he lived alone, because they were concerned about not hearing from him for over a week. He had been invited to a niece’s home for a father’s day picnic, and when he did not appear, the family went to his home to check on him. They found the door to his apartment open and slightly ajar, and found the victim deceased from a gunshot wound to his head. This may have been a home invasion robbery that went bad.Agency
