The richmond police department has identified the victim of today’s homicide on east main street as kenneth I. Lawson, 37, of the 3300 block of 3rd avenue. At approximately 12:49 a.M., officers responded to the 1800 block of east main street for the report of a shooting. Once on scene, police found lawson inside a business suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Three other victims had also been shot. An adult male and an adult female were both taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Another adult female was driven to the hospital by private vehicle and was treated for a non-life threatening injury.
