On 11/27/2019 terrence jefferies lived at the skyloft apartments, 308 west north temple in salt lake city. He and a roommate exited their apartment into a common hallway. An armed suspect was outside the door and waiting for them. The suspect fired a handgun at jefferies and his roommate. The victims retreated into the apartment. The suspect followed and shot jefferies several times. The other victim was struck in the leg and survived by lowering himself down the balcony to a different floor. The suspect was a male black, 25 to 28 years old 6 feet tall, stocky build. He was wearing all black clothing.Agency
