The victim and suspect were engaged in a conversation when the suspect produced a gun and demanded money from the victim. During this exchange, the suspect shot the victim and fled the scene in a vehicle. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he later died as a result of his injuries. The suspect responsible for the murder of james mazzotta has yet to be identified.
