On july 28, 1994, officers responded to the 3000 block of olive street on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located three individuals inside the home. One person was not injured and the other two people had bullet wound injuries. 20 year old paul ferguson succumbed to his wounds and died. Investigation found the suspects approached the house and fired into the home several times.
