On august 17, 2021, at approximately 1:15am, officers were dispatched to the area of greenfield dr and canonby pl on a report of shots fired. When officers arrived at scene, they discovered the victim, 35yr old jermale payton laying in the street suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers at scene performed life saving measures until columbus fire medic #3 arrived and transported the victim to grant medical center in critical condition.Agency
