Officers were in the process of investigating a report of shots fired in the area of w. 35th avenue and bryant street when they were informed that a victim was inside a nearby home suffering from a gunshot wound. Upon checking the residence officer located the victim. The victim, later identified as pete carabajal, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
