The victim, rodolfo felix guillen, was an administrator with the virginia department of corrections who arrived at his office just prior to 7:30 a.M. On the day of his death. The offender apparently shot the victim in his office at least once and then multiple times in the hallway, where the victim died. There were no signs of forced entry into the building. Although the victim and suspect were alone at the office at the time of the offense, this crime occurred within minutes of other employees arriving at the office for the day.
