On december 27th, 2014 at about 2:30 in the afternoon 53-year old eric caster was walking down herald st to a nearby library when he was shot in the stomach. Mr. Caster flagged down an officer complaining that he could not breathe. He collapsed and was rushed to the hospital, where he was taken into surgery. Mr. Caster never regained consciousness and died as a result of his wounds on december 29, 2014. Investigators believe mr. Caster came across two individuals who may have tried to rob him, and ultimately took shot and killed him.Agency
