On the evening of february 8th, 1981 members of the denver fire department responded to the xv logan apartments on a report of a structure fire. After the fire was extinguished, emergency crews located thirteen month old gerald perez along with two other victims deceased inside of the apartment. During a follow-up investigation, the fire was classified as arson. The suspect(s) responsible for the death of gerald perez remain unknown.Agency
