On the afternoon of december 3, 1970 a tenant of the hotel located on the 2000 block of larimer street passed by 69 year old jose gonzales' open door. The tenant looked inside the room and discovered mr. Gonzales motionless on the floor. Emergency personnel were called to assist mr. Gonzales, but he was declared deceased. During the follow-up investigation, it was determined mr. Gonzales had been beaten to death. There are no known suspect(s) in this case.
