On february 18, 2017 at approximately 4am, officers responded to 4065 s. Crystal circle. Kelly acosta, was found lying on the ground bleeding from gunshot wounds. He was transported to the medical center of aurora where he ultimately succumbed to his wounds. When the suspect, a black male, was confronted by acosta, he was shot. The suspect fled in an unknown, possibly white vehicle. Anyone with information regarding this case, is asked to please contact the aurora police department.Agency
