On february 10, 2017, officers responded to the area of 1900 spindrift court, las vegas, nv, after friends of briggs responded to her home when she did not show up for a pre arranged appointment and found her deceased and her young child crying in her bedroom. The investigation initiated by the lvmpd homicide section indicated no forced entry into the home. An autopsy determined briggs had died from blunt force trauma and strangulation. Brigg’s home appeared to have been ransacked and several items were found to be missing.Agency
