On june 2, 1982 a maid at the frontier hotel entered room # 2054 for routine cleaning. The maid discovered the victim lying in the bed with a large amount of blood on the bed and sheets. The room was registered to a man who gave a false name and address, using cash. The victim had numerous stab wounds.
