At approximately 9:30 p.M. On october 10, 2013, the aurora police department responded to 1633 alton street on a report of a shooting. Officers located the victim, herberto sotelo-rojo, who was subsequently transported to university hospital. Witnesses heard several shots being fired and when they looked out, they located the victim in the courtyard. Several witnesses have been interviewed, but no suspect has been identified. Several individuals of interest have come up in the investigation but none have been linked to the homicide at this time.
