On november 13, 1996, 35 year old carrie loraine bowles was murdered in her residence in old mill trace subdivision off keenes mill road in the cottondale area of tuscaloosa county. She was found dead in her residence by a family member. Carrie had been shot. It is unknown if she knew her attacker.
