The remains of a newborn female infant were found in the backyard of a home in the 100 block of Gambetta Street on January 31st, 1988. The baby was Caucasian or possibly Latin, 19 inches in length, and just over four pounds. The infant is believed to have been alive and breathing at birth and was subsequently the victim of homicide.
