On july 8, 2004, officers responded to the 5100 block of west florida ave on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, the officers located 77 year old thomas gray suffering from gunshot wounds. The investigation found thomas had been shot to death during a struggle with other unknown males. After the shooting, the males fled the scene by unknown means.
