At approximately 5:55 pm, west precinct officers received a shot spotter activation, simultaneously a citizen called advising 2 adult males had been shot in the 5600 block of avenue I. Officers arrived on scene and observed the victim lying in the yard of a residence suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Officers located the second male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds as well. Birmingham fire and rescue personnel arrived on scene pronounced and the victim deceased. They also transported the 2nd victim to uab hospital with non-life threatening injuries.Agency
