On october 12th, 2007, dawan childress was dropped off at st. Joseph hospital. Witnesses related that dawan and the man who dropped him off at the hospital were in the 2000 block of e. 23rd avenue and were involved in an altercation with unknown people who shot at them. During this shooting, dawan received multiple gunshot wounds. The victim died on october 12, 2007 in the early morning at the hospital as a result of his injuries.Agency
