Update - september 2021: the metropolitan police department arrest john carrington, 53, and charged him in the murder of reginal gaither. Carrington was also linked to two other cold cases dating back to 1992. He also killed his mother and was arrested in a recent robbery and stabbing incident just a week before being arrested in this case.
