On may 10, 1987, william jones was walking on the sidewalk at 13th avenue and fulton street when a vehicle, described as a 1974 to 1976 plymouth or dodge, pulled up next to the victim. The victim leaned into the vehicle and was shot once in the chest. The vehicle fled the scene. The suspect(s) responsible for the death of william jones have yet to be identified.
