The victim sandra l. Johnson was last seen on april 20, 1989, at her place of employment, the wagon wheel café, on us hwy 17 south in bartow. On april 26, 1989, her body was found in a wooded area off old bartow/eagle lake road in bartow. Her panties and blue jeans were pulled down around her knees and her shirt was pulled up around her neck. Her cause of death is undetermined but it appears that she had extensive head damage.
