On july 25th, 2012 at approximately 10:30 p.M., uniformed officers of the aurora police department responded to the area of 18003 e. Ohio avenue, on multiple reports of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim, jonathan petty, suffering a gunshot wound to the chest. The victim, petty, was treated and transported to medical center of aurora, south campus where he ultimately succumbed to his wounds.
