Officers responded to 901 w. 14th avenue on a report of a "Man down". Upon arrival, the victim was located in a parking lot near the intersection of west colfax avenue and speer boulevard. The victim was unresponsive and pronounced at the scene. Due to the circumstances surrounding the victim's death and the extent of his injuries, this case was investigated as a homicide.
