On the morning of october 13, 2001 victim jeremy martinez was a passenger in a vehicle that was driving eastbound on interstate-70. Near the pecos street exit, an unknown suspect in a second vehicle fired into the vehicle that the victim occupied, striking the victim. The suspect vehicle immediately fled from the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital, but unfortunately died the following day. The suspect(s) responsible for the murder of jeremy martinez have yet to be identified.
